Punjab to boost quota for Balochistan children in Danish schools

Danish Schools Authority has decided to increase the quota for children from Balochistan in Danish Schools. 

The meeting of the Board of Governors of the Danish Schools Authority was chaired by the Punjab Education Minister Rana Sikandar Hayat.

The Minister for Education told the meeting that it has been decided to allocate a quota for children from Bangladesh in Danish Schools on the instructions of the Prime Minister. 

He said students from Bangladesh will come to study in Danish Schools next year.

Rana Sikandar Hayat also included two girls from Danish Schools who topped the matriculation exams in the meeting.

The Minister included both the girls in the consultation and took their opinions on various issues. 

The meeting was briefed that around 1,100 children from other provinces are studying on a special quota in the Danish School Project. 

As many as 110 children from Danish Schools are studying on full scholarship at Beacon House University. 

AI syllabus was introduced for students from 6th to 9th in Danish Schools. 

Minister for Education directed that a mechanism for global scholarship should be created for students of Danish Schools. 

The Minister further directed to complete Danish Schools under construction in Mianwali, DG Khan, Fazilpur, Arifwala and Phoolnagar soon. 

Proposals to expand the scope of the Danish School project are under consideration, Education Minister said.
