Saudi Arabia introduces year-long multiple-entry Umrah visa

Saudi Arabia's Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has announced significant changes to its Umrah visa policy by introducing a new multiple-entry Umrah visa system, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday.

Under the new policy, the Umrah visa will be valid for 365 days (one year), allowing pilgrims to enter Saudi Arabia multiple times on the same visa.

During each visit, pilgrims will be allowed to stay in the Kingdom for up to 90 days.

However, holders of an Umrah visa will not be permitted to enter Saudi Arabia during the Hajj season, as entry for Umrah pilgrims is generally suspended during that period.

Before every trip, pilgrims will be required to complete the necessary procedures through the Nusuk platform and obtain a valid Umrah permit. They must also have an approved Umrah package before travelling.

The Saudi Ministry has also stressed that all visitors must fully comply with the Kingdom's immigration laws, visa regulations, and official instructions.

After leaving Saudi Arabia, the status of the visa will be updated. Any future entry will be subject to the applicable conditions and the latest government policies in force at the time.

The ministry has advised pilgrims that Saudi Arabia's visa policies and Umrah regulations may change from time to time. Therefore, travellers should always check the latest requirements before planning each journey.
