Met Office predicts rain in some mountainous areas of country
The Metrological Department predicted that rain is expected in some mountainous areas of the country, reported the 24NewsHD TV channel on Sunday.
In the next 24 hours, Islamabad and its surrounding areas are expected to be partly cloudy, with strong winds and rain with thunder showers.
There are also chances of rain in Lahore, as the current temperature of the city is 37 degrees Celsius. The maximum temperature is likely to reach 39 degrees.
In Gilgit-Baltistan, it is expected to be partly cloudy, with strong winds and rain with thundershowers.
Most districts of Balochistan are likely to be hot and dry today. Rain with strong winds and thundershowers is likely to be in Kohlu, Naseerabad, Barkhan, Musa Khel, Khuzdar and its surrounding areas today.
Most districts of Sindh will be hot and dry, while in the upper districts of the province, it is expected to be partly cloudy, with strong winds and rain with thundershowers in Sukkur, Kashmore, Shikarpur, Jacobabad, Larkana and its surrounding areas.
Most districts of KPK are likely to be hot and dry. Rain with gusty winds/surges and thundershowers is likely at a few places in Dir, Chitral, Swat, Kohistan, Malakand, Bajaur, Shangla, Battagram, Buner, Karak, Kohat, Bannu, Dera Ismail Khan, Waziristan, Mansehra, Abbottabad, Parachinar and Hangu.
