PPP MPA Naeem Kharal passes away 

A senior lawmaker of the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) in Sindh, Naeem Ahmed Kharal, has passed away in Karachi after a prolonged illness, the 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Sunday.

The member of the Provincial Assembly had been suffering from serious liver complications and cancer for an extended period. 

According to reports, he had also travelled abroad earlier for medical treatment in an attempt to recover from his condition.

In recent days, the veteran politician had been admitted to a private hospital in Karachi, where he remained under treatment until his death was confirmed.

Naeem Kharal was a seasoned politician who served multiple terms as a member of the Sindh Assembly. 

Born on 19 January 1957 in Khairpur District, he held a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Karachi.

He was first elected to the Provincial Assembly of Sindh in the 2013 general elections as a PPP candidate from constituency PS-34 (Khairpur-VI), and later re-elected in 2018 from PS-31 (Khairpur-VI), continuing his political career in provincial politics.
