For the first time, lady traffic officers mounted on heavy bikes have been deployed on major roads to control the traffic in the port city of Karachi, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Sunday. 

The deployment of female traffic officers was directed by the Karachi Police Chief. 

Lady traffic officer Razia Sher Khan is delighted with new her new heavyduty role. 

The TV channel reported that these women traffic officers on heavy bikes are fully determined and ready to deliver.

Earlier, Additional IG Karachi inaugurated Command and Control Centre at DIG Traffic Office to tackle traffic jam problems in the megacity on March 19.
