Sindh announces Eid holidays, Met Office predicts 29-day Ramazan

Sindh Government has announced Eid holidays notification, reported 24NewsHD TV Channel. 

According to a notification issued by Chief Secretary Sindh Asif Haider Shah, there will be public holiday across the province from March 31, 2025 to April 2, 2025 in connection with Eidul Fitr. All public and semi government departments will remain closed from Monday to Wednesday. 

Earlier, the federal government officially announced the three days public holidays for Eid-ul-Fitr 2025. The Cabinet Division has issued a notification confirming the holidays from Monday, March 31, to Wednesday, April 2. 

Meanwhile, Meteorological Department has predicted that Eid-ul-Fitr 2025 will fall on March 31. 

According to weather experts, there are more chances there will be 29 days of Ramazan in Pakistan as new moon will be more than 26 hours old on March 30. Therefore the moon of Eid-ul-Fitr is likely to be sighted across the country on March 30.
