Expansion, reshuffle in cabinet likely before budget

The government may expand the federal cabinet before the presentation of annual budget 2121-22, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Friday.
According to the cabinet sources, the government has offered one ministry each to MQM, PML-Q and Balochistan Awami Party.
The MQM which earlier refused to accept two ministries is now agreed to accept the second ministry, sources said and added that MQM leader Faisal Sabzwari made his party to accept the offer.
MQM leader Khalid Maqbool Siddique has given green signal for the inclusion of Faisal Sabzwari’s name as a likely minister for the second ministry.

Sources said Minister for Development Asad Umar and Sindh Governor Imran Ismail had succeeded in wooing the MQM.
Kamil Ali Agha of PML-Q and Anwaar Kakar of BAP are expected to get the ministerial portfolios.
Sources revealed that PTI MNA Major ® Tahir Saddiq might get some ministry. There are chances to change the ministerial portfolio of Energy Minister Hammad Azhar.
Senator Ali Zafar is expected to get Law Ministry, sources added.
