Fire erupts in cotton factory in Faisalabad

Two people became unconscious and one received burn wounds when a massive fire broke out in a cotton factory in Faisalabad on Wednesday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

The factory known as New Ali Sizing is located on 64 Puli Jhang Road in Faisalabad.

Soon after receiving the report of the incident, a Rescue 1122 team reached the site and brought the fire under control.

Rescue 1122 sources said that two persons namely Shehzad and Ghulam Farid lost consciousness due to massive smoke which engulfed the area while Mohammad Shahbaz received minor injuries.

Rescue 1122 sources further revealed that some quantity of cotton and wood which was lying on a 10-marla area caught fire due to unknown reasons.

Rescue team after providing first-aid to all the affected persons started cooling process.
