Gulbuddin Hekmatyar calls on Asad Qaiser

Hezb-e-Islami Afghanistan leader Engineer Gulbuddin Hekmatyar led his delegation to a meeting with National Assembly Speaker Asad Qaiser on Tuesday.
The meeting mulled ways to cement bilateral relations, Afghan peace and regional situation, according to the National Assembly Secretariat.
Asad shed light on the importance of Afghan peace for regional growth and reiterated Pakistan’s resolve for peace, saying that Islamabad has always been standing by Kabul in its efforts for durable peace.
He also commended the efforts of Afghan leadership for peace and prosperity. He shared Pakistan’s cooperation with Afghanistan in anti-Covid combat and relaxing visa conditions to benefit Afghan students.
Gulbuddin Hekmatyar praised Pakistan’s part for bringing peace to Afghanistan and providing shelter to war-hit Afghans for years.
The Afghan leader laid stress on the participation of all the stakeholders in the peace process of Afghanistan. The visiting dignitary also praised the NA speaker for his role in bringing the neighbouring leadership together.
