Nalain-e-Pak theft case: JIT progress report submitted to SC

A two-judge Supreme Court bench, headed by Justice Ijazul Ahsan, resumed hearing the Nalain-e-Pak theft case, 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Thursday.

The JIT progress report was submitted to the court. The case has been put off for an indefinite period.

The additional advocate general told the court that the search for Nalain-e-Pak is on and no stone would be left unturned to recover it. 

The security of Tabarakat Gallery in Badshahi Masjid has been beefed up, the court told.

Petitioner Pir SA Jafri said the officers, who took Nalain-e-Pak to Brunei were not interrogated.

He said he will continue with his struggle to get Nalain-e-Pak back recovered.
