PM Shehbaz may meet President Trump next month

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will visit the United States of America (USA) in September and will attend the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) session in New York, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Friday.

Deputy Prime Minister (DPM) and Foreign Minister (FM) Ishaq Dar will accompany the Prime Minister.

During his stay, the Prime Minister will also hold meetings with other leaders at the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly’s session.

Diplomatic sources confirmed that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will also hold a meeting with President Donald Trump, as both countries are in touch with each other to finalize the meeting.

Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar will also hold talks with United States Secretary of State Marc Rubio. Later, the Prime Minister will likely visit the United Kingdom.
