One killed in ‘police encounter’ in Kahna

One person was killed in an 'encounter' with the police in Kahna area of Lahore on Sunday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Police said that they were taking Asif, a suspect in murder and other cases, for recovery.
Near Haloki village, the Force added, accomplices of the suspect opened fire at the police van due to which Asif died on the spot.
Police further said they had shifted the body to a mortuary.
