Punjab to hold written test for appointment of head teachers on Tuesday
The Punjab School Education Department will hold a written examination for the appointment of head teachers in government schools tomorrow (Tuesday), 24NewsHD TV reported on Monday.
According to the department, the test will be held under the supervision of the Punjab Education, Curriculum, Training and Assessment Authority to select head teachers through a transparent and competitive process.
Authorities have directed officials to ensure the installation of CCTV cameras at all examination centres, uninterrupted electricity supply during the test, and the availability of internet connectivity and tablets required for the examination process.
The School Education Department has also instructed all districts to nominate focal persons for coordination with PECTAA to facilitate smooth communication and effective management of the examination.
In an official letter, district authorities have been ordered to extend full cooperation to ensure the fair, transparent and efficient conduct of the test across Punjab.
The department has formally issued instructions to Chief Executive Officers (CEOs) of Education in all districts, emphasizing the importance of maintaining transparency and administrative efficiency throughout the examination process.
