Under-custody accused killed in Lahore CCD encounter

An arrested accused Kamran, was killed by the firing of his own accomplices during a shootout with police in Lahore, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Saturday.
The incident took place in the Green Town area of Lahore.
According to details, a Crime Control Department (CCD) team from Saddar Police Station was taking the accused for recovery.
Suddenly, the accused's accomplices attacked the police in an ambush. During the exchange of fire, the accused Kamran received gunshots and died.
Police said that all the accomplices of the accused escaped from the scene, taking advantage of the darkness.
Later, police shifted the dead body of the accused to the hospital’s mortuary for a post-mortem.
