Another 142 dengue cases reported in Lahore, 77 in Islamabad

There is no letup in dengue cases as 77 more people have been diagnosed with dengue in last 24 hours bringing the total number of dengue cases in Islamabad to 4,272 while 142 were reported in Lahore, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Saturday.
As many as 50 dengue cases were detected in rural regions of Islamabad and 27 in urban areas out of a total of 77 cases, the district health officer reports. So far, nine patients have succumbed to death due to dengue.
In the past 24 hours, 26 dengue patients have been admitted to PIMS Hospital, 9 dengue patients to Federal General Hospital Chak Shahzad, and 2 dengue patients to CDA Hospital respectively.
Dengue virus has also been confirmed in 34 patients visiting private laboratories in city.

On the other side, Lahore alone reported 142 patients infected with dengue within 24 hours.
