Gold prices fall after decreasing USD, AED value

The fall in the price of gold in the international market and the decreased prices of the US Dollar (USD) and United Arab Emirates’ Dirham (AED) Thursday caused the price of gold in the national gold market to drop by Rs400, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
The price of one tola of 24 Karat gold in the national market after the drop reaches Rs1,54,700 per tola.
According to the All Sindh Gold Market Association, gold price per ounce in the global market fell by US$5 to US$1669.
The association said the drop in the value of USD and AED in the open market resulted in the descent of the gold price.
The price of 10 grams of 24 Karat gold saw a decline of Rs343 and the new price was reported to be Rs1,32,630.
