Prof. Dr Sumaira Rehman, a PhD in Women Entrepreneurship from the United Kingdom believes in making youth confident with their skillset and working for an economically Superior Pakistan.

The South Asian Partnership Summit and Business Award has recognized her efforts and crowned Superior University with "Emerging Educational institute of the year" and honoured Prof. Dr Sumaira Rehman with the "South Asia's Top 100 Power Women Award" in Dhaka, Bangladesh.

It is normally said that behind every success there is a woman. It is true in Superior University's story of success. Prof. Dr Sumaira Rehman held the office of Superior University in 2016. She started her office with a vision that, "My university will not become a factory of unemployed graduates".

The story began with the Entrepreneurship Teaching and Training Program (ETTP) which equipped teachers with this skill set and made it clear that ideas will change the fate of students and ultimately help in becoming job creators rather than job seekers. Her unique 3U1M Program changed the mindset of Academia and industry by initiating Outcome Based Education and Project Based Learning to ensure practical learning and employability with a difference. HEC took up this UNIQUENESS and it became a trend to be followed by all universities.

Her strategies revolved around the Sustainable Development Goals of the United Nations (UN) which made it clear that she wants a better world for the future generation and tries to work towards making this world a better place to live.

The initiatives taken in this context made Superior University ranked #1 in the private sector universities of Pakistan as per Times Higher Education Impact Ranking 2022, which speaks highly of her achieving academic excellence with diversity. Giving direction to 67% of youth in Pakistan is her mission and she is adamant to change the existing educational system by enabling and empowering youth to be masters of their fate and captains of their soul.

Besides this, Prof. Dr. SUMAIRA REHMAN is an emblem of collaborating for change. She was the mind behind collectively finding solutions regarding educational fraternity for creating socio-economic impact and developing sustainable growth for student success.

The Rectors' Conference held every year is her brainchild to create possibilities in finding practical creative solutions for existing problems. In addition to this being a patriotic Pakistani, she wants to make the World SEE PAKISTAN with an optimistic lens. The Superior Entrepreneurial Expo gave a creative platform to Pakistani youth to showcase their ideas and in 2022 she happily gave this platform of SEE Pakistan to All Private Sector Universities of Pakistan with a view that it will create more opportunities across Pakistan in developing an Entrepreneurial Revolution.

This passionate journey of dedication, hard work and uniqueness is a promise to add value to the lives of people and empower them to think beyond the ordinary in order to be Superior. Her work has given Superior University identity and acclaim globally. Dr Sumaira's diversified personality is a role model for all the contemporary ladies who is leading a university and upbringing her children with utmost confidence, care, and commitment. Her role as a mother, wife and Rector at Superior University has been absolutely inspirational because taking care of the house and work simultaneously is an excellent example of her time management skills. The balance she has created in work and life is a treat to watch. In these 6 years, she gave a new dimension to Pakistan's education, economy and brought up a generation who believes in themselves and have the ability to dream and create miracles. This Majestic journey is a trendsetter that has transformed lives and by seeing this remarkable contribution to society she received the Academic Excellence Award 2022 by APSUP.
