Former Prime Minister and PML N supremo Nawaz Sharif is keen to bring the prices of petroleum products in line with the global market as soon as possible, reported 24 News HD TV Channel Tuesday.

According to sources, Mian Nawaz Sharif had a consultation meeting with former finance minister Ishaq Dar, Lt Gen (r) Nasir Janjua, and other party leaders.

The country's political situation and other issues were discussed in the meeting.  Nawaz Sharif discussed with party leaders the prices of petroleum products. He consulted on reducing the prices of petroleum products after the end of fuel adjustment on electricity.
