PIA Umrah flight faces over 10-hour delay

The Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) flight (PK-731) bound to take 393 Umrah pilgrims to Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, was delayed by over 10 hours at Islamabad International Airport on Saturday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Umrah pilgrims, who could not depart for performing Umrah due to flight delay, said that the PIA authorities are not providing them any information regarding flight departure.

The airline officials claimed that the flight has got delayed due to technical reasons, adding that a team of PIA engineers is busy in fixing the technical fault.

However, they could not divulge how much more time the engineers would take to remove the technical glitch.
