10 Multan cops punished for skipping PSL duty

At least 10 Multan police officials were awarded 10 to 15-day quarter guard confinement for remaining absent from PSL duty, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday.

The Multan Saddr superintendent of police (SP) announced the punishment for the police officials.

The execution of the sentence will start from February 24, 2023.

Sub-Inspector (SI) Irfan Zafar, Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) Shafaqat Ali, Head Constable Tariq, and Constables – Muhammad Momin and Imran Sadiq were among those who were punished.

Constables including Adnan Atta, Imran Khan, Muhammad Aamir, Arsalan Ahmed, and Rashid Mehmood were also among the officials who were punished.

The police sources have said that the police personnel had received quarter guard punishment after a long time.

"The police personnel are worried about such a punishment," they have added.
