Govt failed to develop consensus sans Imran Khan: Mussarrat Cheema

Decisions on major issues being faced by the country cannot be taken sans the founder of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), Imran Khan, reported the 24NewsHD TV channel on Sunday.

These views were expressed by the leader of PTI, Mussarrat Jamshed Cheema, in a statement issued on the occasion of Pakistan National Day.

She further said that the current government did not have a mandate of the people, due to which our country is facing many challenges and the majority of national issues remain unsolved.

Mussarrat Jamshed Cheema said that the current government is the main hurdle to building a national consensus for addressing these national issues.

She warned that the current situation is becoming worse day by day due to the inefficiency of the current government.

She said that our country is on the verge of disaster due to one-sided decisions being taken in locked rooms.

She further said that every Pakistani wanted to know the reason for the imprisonment of PTI founder Imran Khan.

The senior PTI leader said that the PTI founder is being denied his meeting with his party leaders, and instead the government is creating hurdles on his way.

She advised the current government to take bold decisions to avoid confrontation and put the country on the path of progress and prosperity.
