NAB recovers Rs1.10 trillion in third quarter of 2025
National Accountability Bureau (NAB) recovered Rs1.10 trillion in the third quarter of 2025, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Thursday.
According to NAB, this recovery made in the current quarter is 242 percent more than the previous quarter.
NAB has recovered a total of Rs1,649.36 billion (Rs1.65 trillion) in the first three quarters of 2025.
In this quarter, 17,194 victims in various cases of “public fraud” benefited from NAB’s recoveries.
NAB Karachi recovered two valuable plots worth Rs2.8 billion in the Karachi Port Trust (KPT) case and handed them over to KPT.
NAB Sukkur recovered 361 acres of additional land of National Highway Authority worth Rs2.5 billion.
During this quarter, NAB recovered 1.39 million acres of mangrove forest land, worth Rs1,104.97 billion.
The total recovery of forest land has reached Rs2,592.74 billion (Rs2.59 trillion).
NAB Balochistan recovered 414,036 acres of forest land, worth Rs44.8 billion.
NAB Khyber Pakhtunkhwa recovered and handed over illegally allotted state land worth Rs3.2 billion to the Ministry of Industries and Production, Government of Pakistan.
NAB, while addressing the victims of public fraud, made online payment/distribution of funds to 5008 victims of B4U case for the first time.
