Rubbishing reports of his resignation, Balochistan Chief Minister (CM) Jam Kamal expressed the resolve on Thursday to face the no-trust motion courageously when it would be tabled in the provincial assembly, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
In an interview with 24News, he expressed the hope that he would complete the remaining two years of his stipulated five-year term as CM.
He said members of the Balochistan Assembly belonging to Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI), Balochistan Awami Party (BAP), National Party (NP) and Hazara Democratic Party (HDP) were with him. “However, some of these members have reservations which we will address,” he added.
CM Kamal said there were some technical issues with the no-confidence resolution the opposition planned to bring against him, and that’s why it had not been tabled in the Balochistan Assembly as yet.
