PPP-AJK terminates membership of two senior leaders
The Pakistan People's Party (PPP) Azad Kashmir has terminated the party membership of two senior leaders for allegedly violating party discipline and decisions during the 2026 general elections.
According to a notification issued by the PPP-AJK, party president Chaudhry Muhammad Yasin approved the termination of the membership of Sardar Khalid Mahmood Chughtai and Sardar Majid Razaq.
Sardar Khalid Mahmood Chughtai was serving as Vice President of PPP-AJK, while Sardar Majid Razaq was a member of the party’s Central Executive Committee.
The notification stated that action was taken against the two leaders for violating party discipline and decisions during the 2026 general elections.
The notification terminating their party memberships was issued under the signature of PPP-AJK Secretary General Faisal Mumtaz Rathore.
The party has taken the action as part of its disciplinary measures against leaders found to have acted contrary to party decisions during the elections.
