As many as 12 labourers were injured in a gas explosion that ripped through a cotton factory in Hub on Monday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

According to sources, a blast occurred in a private cotton factory in Hub due to gas leakage. As a result, 12 factory workers received burn wounds. The condition of four of them was stated to be critical. 

They injured labourers were shifted to a nearby hospital. However, those who were severely burnt during the incident, they were being shifted to Karachi for medical treatment.
