Missing toddler found dead in rainwater in Gujranwala
A two-year-old boy drowned after falling into accumulated rainwater in Gujranwala, 24NewsHD TV reported on Friday.
The incident occurred in Phatak Colony, near Alam Chowk, where the child, identified as Salman, son of Muntazar, reportedly drowned in stagnant rainwater.
According to rescue authorities, the boy's family had been searching for him since the morning.
His body was later found submerged in the rainwater, prompting an emergency response.
Rescue teams reached the scene, recovered the body, and shifted it to the DHQ Hospital for legal formalities.
The tragic incident cast a pall of grief over the neighbourhood, with the child's family left devastated by the loss.
