Jamiat Ahle Hadees to elect new ameer tomorrow

After the death of Prof Sajid Mir, elections for the office of the Jamiat Ahle Hadees ameer will be held tomorrow, 24NewsHD TV reported on Saturday.

Members of Jamiat Ahle Hadees' Majlis-e-Shura will elect the new ameer.  

Voting for the election of the new ameer will be held at the Ahle Hadees Markaz.  

“The election process will be completed under the supervision of the chairman of the election board, Dr Abdul Ghafoor,” an official said.

Jamiat Ahle Hadees Nazim-e-A'ala Hafiz Abdul Kareem is likely to be elected the new ameer of religious party.

The post of the Jamiat Ahle Hadees ameer fell vacant after the death of Prof Sajid Mir earlier this month.
