PML-Q finalises strategy for GB elections


The Pakistan Muslim League (PML-Q) has finalised its election strategy for the upcoming elections in Gilgit-Baltistan, reported the 24NewsHD TV channel on Sunday. 
An important meeting was held under the chairmanship of Chaudhry Salik Hussain in which the election issues and political situation were discussed in detail. 
The meeting was attended by party leaders and provincial presidents and was briefed on the election campaign. 
During the meeting, Chaudhry Salik Hussain, after consultation, formed a 5-member steering committee, which includes Tariq Hassan, Dr Amjad, Mustafa Malik, Anila Ayaz and Kamran Usmani.
PML-Q Provincial President of Gilgit-Baltistan Dilfraz Khan gave a briefing on the election campaign and political situation.
Development, stability, public service and national unity are declared as the manifesto of PML-Q for Gilgit-Baltistan.
The meeting decided to pay special attention to youth employment, tourism promotion, infrastructure and education.
Addressing the meeting, Chaudhry Salik Hussain said the development and progress of Gilgit-Baltistan and public prosperity are the top priority. 
Chaudhry Salik Hussain said candidates with clean character and passion for public service were given tickets.
The success of PML-Q candidates will be the success of the patriotic forces, Chaudhry Salik Hussain said.
Talking on occasion, Tariq Hassan said under the leadership of Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain, the journey of development of Gilgit-Baltistan will be further advanced.
