Empty police post blown up in Landikotal

Unidentified militants blown up an empty police checkpost by planting explosives in it in Landikotal near Pakistan-Afghanistan border late Thursday night, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Friday.
The incident happened at Zartai police post in Landikotal town.
Police said there was no loss of life from the site as the post remained unmanned during the night.
The check-post is located in the jurisdiction of Landikotal Police Station near the Pakistan-Afghanistan border.
Soon after the explosion, heavy the gunmen also opened indiscriminate firing at the checkpost.
