Poliovirus confirmed in Lahore sewage

Poliovirus has been confirmed in Lahore’s sewage despite successive campaigns, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Friday.
Poliovirus confirmed in samples taken from sewage of Outfall Road, Multan Road and Gulshan-e-Ravi.
Lahore has not been free from poliovirus for two consecutive years and continuous presence of poliovirus posed serious threat to children's health.
