Shehbaz assures Murad of full support for timely completion of development projects in Sindh

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Wednesday assured Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah of full support of the federal government for timely completion of development projects in the southeastern province of the country.

During a meeting in Islamabad, Shah briefed Sharif in detail about the progress on the ongoing development initiatives in the province, according to a press release issued by the Prime Minister’s Office.

Sharif said the federal government would extend all possible support to ensure early completion of projects in Sindh. He directed the relevant ministries to maintain close coordination with the provincial government to accelerate public welfare initiatives.

Sharif said the Pakistan People's Party (PPP) was an important ally of the federal government and emphasized that national development could be accelerated through cooperation among coalition partners. He said that harmony and consultation among allied parties were essential for national stability and continuity of policies.

Appreciating the Sindh leadership as a key partner in the coalition government, Sharif said strong coordination between the federation and provinces would strengthen the democratic system and help address public issues effectively.

Matters relating to the political situation in Sindh and other issues of mutual interest also came under discussion during the meeting.

Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, Federal Ministers Azam Nazeer Tarar and Ahsan Iqbal and Adviser to the Prime Minister Rana Sanaullah were also present at the meeting.
