Mother, daughter drown in Ghotki Canal

A mother also dies while trying to rescue her little daughter who accidently fell into a canal in Ghotki on Wednesday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel. 

According to rescue and police officials, a tragic incident occurred in Rasool Bakhsh village of Gabol in district Ghotki. 

The 8-year-old girl, Samina, slipped into the canal and drowned. The mother quickly jumped into the canal to save her daughter. Unluckily both mother and daughter drowned and died due to the strong flow of water. Their bodies were later recovered from the canal by rescue teams.
