Sisters, party are now ignoring PTI founder: Azma Bukhari

Punjab Minister for Information and Culture Azma Bukhari on Wednesday said that sisters and party of Pakistan Tahreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan are now ignoring him, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

In a statement released in Lahore, the minister said that Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz showed outstanding performance as compared to other chief ministers.

She said Aleema Khan was conspiring against KP Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur as he himself admitted that some people were involved in a conspiracy against him.

She went on to saying that Gandapur obtained approval of the Budget 2025-26 from KP Assembly as he is the chief executive of the province; otherwise, he would have to exit.

Azma Bokhari said that Aleema Khan group was levelling baseless allegations against Ali Amin Gandapur on social media.

She said that currently there are three groups in PTI and three separate groups have also emerged in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

She said that KP has been left at the mercy of corrupt elements for the last 12 years. One group in KP is being led by Junaid Akbar, second group belonged to Atif Khan and the third one comprises rebels, she added.

Azma Bokhari said that Punjab is a role model for other provinces in terms of transparency, good governance and merit.
