Unidentified persons shot dead a marble contractor, father of six, in Karachi’s Manghopir area on Thursday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

And if feeling not satisfied with pumping bullets into his body, the assassins then mowed his body under a dumper.

Family members of the deceased, who has been identified as 38-year-old Ali Akbar, however, told the media that they had no enmity with anybody.  

Police were of the view that nothing could be said with certainty that whether the incident was the result of offering resistance to robbers or was something else.

It said that material evidence had been collected from the crime scene and further investigation was underway.
