Earthquake hits Kalat

Kalat experienced earthquake tremors on Tuesday, causing panic among residents in the city and surrounding areas, according to the Meteorological Department.

The department reported that the quake measured 3.0 on the Richter scale. The tremors, though brief, were strong enough to alarm citizens.

Meteorological officials confirmed that the epicenter of the earthquake was located 12 kilometers underground near Kalat.
