The Lahore District administration got a case registered against a fruit vendor for selling onions at inflated rates though he has never dealt in vegetables, 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Tuesday.

Muhammad Akram has been dealing in fruit for years. The Raiwind police told him that he was booked for selling onions at inflated rates

As per the FIR, he was selling the commodity Rs 13 more than tup more than the DC prescribed rates for the vegetable.  

Police have started an investigation.
