PPP leaders of AJK chapter call on Zardari to discuss possible change of PM Anwarul Haq
Bilawal chairs meeting of PPP AJK Parliamentary Group to review political situation in Azad Kashmir
Leaders of AJK PPP called on President Asif Ali Zardari and discussed issues related to AJK governance and the role of the party. The meeting was also attended by party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, PPP women wing President Faryal Talpur and other senior leaders.
Earlier, PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari chairs meeting of PPP Azad Jammu and Kashmir Parliamentary Group in Islamabad along with PPP Women's Wing Central President Faryal Talpur to review political situation in AJK, reported 24NewsHDTV Channel.
The meeting was attended by PPP leaders Raja Pervez Ashraf, Qamar Zaman Kaira, local chapter leaders include Sardar Tanveer Ilyas, Ch Muhammad Yasin, Faisal Mumtaz Rathore, Ch Latif Akbar, Sardar Javed Ayub and Sardar Yaqub Khan. Ch Ali Shan, Javed Butt, Rafiq Nayyar, Sardar Ahmed Saghir, Nabila Ayub, Sardar Qamar Zaman and Chaudhry Muhammad Riaz.
The meeting also discussed the name of the Prime Minister after the possible change of the Prime Minister.
Sources said the meeting discussed the replacement of Prime Minister of Azad Kashmir Chaudhry Anwarul Haq as PPP was keen to bring no-confidence motion against Chaudhry Anwarul Haq. The number game is complete for no-confidence motion against Prime Minister Anwarul Haq.
PPP leaders decided that all meeting points will be discussed with President Zardari and final decision will be made after his approval.
The People's Party has suggested names of Chaudhry Yasin, Chaudhry Latif Akbar and Sardar Yaqoob as strong candidates for the Prime Minister.
Bilawal Bhutto and PPP Azad Jammu and Kashmir leaders discussed political situation, public issues and their solutions.
Bilawal and PPP Azad Jammu and Kashmir leaders also discussed further improving the organizational infrastructure. Bilawal Bhutto Zardari was briefed by PPP Azad Jammu and Kashmir leaders on their suggestions on the political situation.
