Eight ‘activities’ banned in Islamabad

The Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) administration has banned eight different activities in the federal capital and also imposed Section 144, reported 24NewHD TV channel.
Deputy Commissioner Islamabad issued the notification on Saturday which will remain effective for two months.
The Islamabad administration has banned taking out of processions and gatherings in the federal capital and prohibits using Quranic verses and newspaper pages as scrap (raddi).
The ICT administration has also put a ban on wall-chalking and distribution of posters and pamphlets.
Section 144 has been enforced on the display of any kind of arms in Islamabad.
Speeches through the cassette player-sound system are also banned in Islamabad.
The sale and purchase of fireworks and their equipment are also be banned in the federal capital.
Section 144 also applied to stone crushing in Islamabad.
Ban on the distribution of illegal housing schemes, advertisements and their distribution of brochures have been placed.
