The country’s commercial capital, Karachi, which was still reeling from the impact of heavy rain two days ago is bracing for another spell of heavy downpour today, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

The weather office further said that mainly hot and dry weather is expected in most parts of the country. However, rain-wind/thundershower is expected at isolated places in lower Sindh.

The maximum temperature would be 36 degrees Celcius in the sprawling city of Karachi while the minimum would be 29 degrees Celcius.

The wind speed from the south-eastern side of the Arabian Sea was recorded three nautical miles per hour. While the moisture in the air was recorded at 78 percent in Karachi.

In the past 24 hours, the weather remained hot and dry in most parts of the country, however, rain-wind/thundershower occurred in lower Sindh and Kotli.

Rainfall (mm): Sindh: Badin 24, Thatta 20, Chhor 08, Karachi (Orangi Town 05, Sarjani, Masroor Base 02), Hyderabad 02, Mirpurkhas and Tando Jam 01.
