Punjab is set to undergo many changes in the political sphere, for a tug of war is going to happen soon between Chief Minister Pervaiz Elahi and the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).

This was revealed by senior journalist and anchorperson Salim Bokhari during his famous talk show “Salim Bokhari Show” on 24NewsHD TV channel the other day.

Speaking in the talk show, he said that Imran Khan was heading towards fundamentalism and extremism. “He threatens ministers at one time or another. All that Imran Khan is doing is not the way of a politician at all,” Salim Bokhari added.

He also claimed that there would very soon be a fight between the chief minister and the PTI. “Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi is the Chief Minister of Punjab, and he will want his decisions to be accepted. But, on the other hand, the PTI will say ‘we made you the chief minister; our decisions should be accepted,” he added.

Bokhari said that Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi was a good politician, [for] he came to the office not suddenly but after a lot of experience. “He will never allow ministers to come in his way,” he stated.

“I see many changes in Punjab. Maryam Nawaz has got an office in Punjab, and she will handle the affairs of the province. She will compete well with all the politicians,” he remarked.

Speaking about Nawaz Sharif, Salim Bokhari said that preparations were underway to open the doors for the return of Nawaz Sharif after Ishaq Dar.

“Nawaz Sharif will be given relief. His sentence will be suspended, and he will be asked to fight his case in court,” he claimed.
