Lahore board ends hard-copy result cards for Intermediate students

The Lahore Board has ended the issuance of hard-copy result cards, announcing that Intermediate result cards will now be provided in soft form instead of printed copies, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Friday.

The Lahore Board has informed all relevant educational institutions about the new decision, under which students will receive their result cards digitally.

According to the board spokesperson, result cards of regular candidates have been sent to the portals of their respective educational institutions. Students can obtain their result cards through their colleges and other affiliated institutions.

Private candidates, meanwhile, can download soft copies of their result cards from the Lahore Board’s official website.

The spokesperson further clarified that the result cards will carry a QR code through which the results can be verified online. This will allow students and other relevant authorities to check the authenticity of the result card digitally.

The Lahore Board has also ended the printing of hard-copy result cards. With the new system, the printing and physical delivery of result cards will no longer be required.

According to the board spokesperson, the decision is expected to reduce the board’s printing and postal expenses, resulting in savings of millions of rupees.

The availability of result cards in soft form will also give students quicker and easier access to their academic records without waiting for printed copies.

The new system marks a change in the procedure for issuing Intermediate result cards, with regular candidates accessing them through their institutions and private candidates downloading them directly from the board’s website.
