Secular face of India has been exposed, says Ramesh Singh Arora

Punjab Minister for Minority Affairs Ramesh Singh Arora said on Sunday that atrocities against minorities in India was not a new development, and that secular face of India had been exposed, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Addressing a press conference, he said that this year, members of the Christian community were not even allowed to celebrate Christmas in India. “While, on the other hand, Pakistan set an example by opening the Kartarpur Corridor to facilitate Sikh devotees,” he said, and added that the step was applauded by the entire world, including the UN secretary general.

The minister accused Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi of using the Pahalgam false flag operation to commit brutalities against the Muslims in the country.

He also alleged that women in the Indian occupied Kashmir were being raped.

Arora said that India had become isolated in the world. “Pakistan wants peace in the world,” he asserted.

Speaking on the occasion, State Minister for Minorities Kheal Das Kohistani said that minorities in Pakistan performed their religious rituals with complete freedom.

He said that on the other hand, India had converted Kashmir into a dungeon.

A documentary, showing atrocities against minorities in India, was also played during the news conference.
