PPP Chairman and Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari Friday met with Julian Harneys, UN Resident Coordinator and Humanitarian Coordinator in Pakistan.

They had a discussion regarding the flood disasters, reported 24 News HD TV Channel.

Expressing grief over the loss of human lives, Bilawal Bhutto appealed to the United Nations that it should play its role in attracting financial assistance from the international community for Pakistan.

He also appreciated the UN's assistance to the flood victims and said that Pakistan will make a formal appeal for emergency assistance from the UN soon.

Julian Harneys also expressed regret over the loss of human lives due to the floods. He thanked Bilawal Bhutto and assured the UN full cooperation in this critical juncture of Pakistan.
