♦ PTI ministers censure Rana Shamim as his collusion with Nawaz Sharif on affidavit surfaces. Information Minister Fawad Chaudhry tweeted that former GB top judge Rana Shamim notorized his affidavit against ex-CJP Saqib Nisar and other IHC judges in the office of Nawaz Sharif in London, saying once again the Sharif family has proved itself a Sicilian mafia.

Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting Farrukh Habib has said now it’s a settled fact that Rana Shamim is an office-bearer of PML-N Lawyers Wing. He says it’s a big revelation that Nawaz in his presence prepared an affidavit to launch an attack on judiciary. That’s why Nawaz is called “Godfather”. 

♦ Temperatures drop further as several areas of country receives first rain of winter season. Rain in Sahiwal, Vehari, Lodhran, Jhang, Fort Abbas, Arifwala, Gojra, Pakpattan, Feroze Watowan and other areas of southern Punjab, in Dera Ismael Khan and North Waziristan in KP and in several districts of Balochistan, including provincial capital Quetta, made the weather chillier.

Balochistan areas such as Muslim Bagh and Ziarat received first snowfall of ongoing winter season.

♦ As the weather is getting colder, gas pressure across the country including Karachi, Lahore, Faisalabad, Quetta and other cities is decreasing considerably. Women are facing difficulty in cooking meal. Citizens are forced to buy expensive wood and LPG cylinders.

♦ Education Minister Shafqat Mehmood calls on Punjab Governor Ch Sarwar who congratulates him on becoming PTI Punjab president. Both the leaders advise opposition to wait for election instead of coming on roads. They express concern over India’s increasing atrocities on minorities.

♦ Pakistan reports 2 more coronavirus deaths and 358 new cases. The positivity ratio of the coronavirus cases in Pakistan reaches 0.68 percent, as 358 new coronavirus cases emerged in the last 24 hours after conducting 52,050 tests. It takes the total cases tally to 1,293,440.

♦ The woman blackmailers group is active in Hafizabad as another man has been robbed. The women hired a cab and after taking driver hostage, they snatched his car and sped away. Police have arrested 2 blackmailer women and are conducting raids for the arrest of their ringleader.

♦ In a dacoity bid in Islamabad’s Sohan area, dacoits loot 14 tola gold ornaments and cash from mother and daughter. 24NewsHD TV has got the CCTV footage of the incident.

♦ Lahore Press Club elections are underway at Press Club. There is a tough competition between the Journalist and Pioneer Group. From Journalist Group, Javed Farooqui and from Pioneer Group Azam Chaudhry are contesting for the President seat.

♦ Man turns in after killing his wife for honour in Nowshera. He tells police he saw a stranger coming out of his house and became suspicious and angry. He shot dead his wife in the name of honour. 

♦ Mother of former fast bowler Shoaib Akhtar passes away today. Her funeral prayers will be held after Asr at H8 graveyard in Islamabad. 

♦ Two people were killed by the firing of extortionists when the former refused to pay them the extortion money in Buddh Ber, Peshawar.
