Jamat Islami (JI) has announced the launch of a movement against the government and urged the masses to join it to get rid of prevailing inflation, unemployment, and lawlessness in the country.
“Whether the opposition unites or not, we have started a public movement against the government,” JI Naib Emir Liaqat Baloch told 24News while speaking from Kharian.
People are disappointed and they have no expectations from Imran Khan and his government, he said. The government has also failed its allies by its poor governance, he added.
“Now the effects of it (poor governance) are reflecting in the rampant inflation, unemployment, and lawlessness,” said Baloch.
“If Imran Khan didn’t mend his ways, nothing could prevent snap polls from taking place.”
JI leader said that this “selected government” is a result of the rigged elections and such governments "are ultimately bound to suffer the wrath of the people.”
“The solution to all the problems being faced by Pakistan lies in the sovereignty of Islam and a governance style based on the state of Medinah,” he concluded.
