Pakistan’s superstar Sajal Aly has returned to her Instagram account after a three-day ‘disappearance’. It seemed her account was turned off which had led to the spread of several rumours.

Sajal Ali took to her Instagram account and promoted her new movie ‘What’s love got to do with it?’. She shared the posters and scenes of the movie on her Instagram story.

The ‘Aangan’ actress was promoting her international movie on different platforms and gathering the well wishes of others for the success of the movie.

Sajal Aly uses social media frequently, but on February 23 her Instagram profile suddenly became deactivate, confusing her fans.

Some assumed that Sajal Aly’s absence from Instagram was a result of the Indian lyricist Javed Akhtar's divisive remark that "Pakistan is the land of terrorists" when visiting Pakistan, which led Pakistani showbiz figures, including Sajal Aly's younger sister Saboor Aly, to condemn his statement.

It is pertinent to note that the “O Rangreza” actress Sajal Aly has worked with Shabana Azmi, who is the wife of Indian Javed Akhtar. Due to the strong condemnation of showbiz personalities on Indian lyricist’s statement, it was likely for Sajal to feel pressure on herself. Therefore, she decided to deactivate her social media.
