Fire erupts at godown, house in Karachi

A massive fire broke out in a godown, and a child received severe burn wounds when a blaze swept his house in two fire incidents in Karachi on Monday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

The godown is located in the Sherpao area of Landhi locality in Karachi. 

Soon after receiving the report, Central Command and Control Rescue 1122 teams, along with the fire brigade and ambulance, rushed to the fire and started operations to bring the fire under control.

The second fire incident occurred in a house that is located near the Post Office in the Khokhrapar area of Malir. 

A two-year-old boy, Aahan received severe burn wounds. He was immediately shifted to Jinnah Hospital for treatment.

A spokesman of Rescue 1122 said that the operation is underway to bring the fire under control.
