Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi has said democratic presidential nominee and former vice president Joe Biden’s call for steps to restore rights of all the people living in occupied Kashmir, is endorsement of Pakistan’s voice for people’s right.

The world is also seconding Pakistan’s stance on Kashmir, the minister said citing Biden’s statement expressing disappointment over the Citizenship (Amendment) Act.

He added Biden raised voice for human rights in Kashmir today while for long, Pakistani has been making a litany of appeals for heeding to Kashmir. 

He said such a statement by a democrat like Biden is an achievement of Pakistan that will keep on doing so.
