Pakistani international cricketer Sahibzada Mohammad Shahid Khan Afridi has started facing the withdrawals of old-age and had to be removed from PSL6 due to intense lower back pain.
This news hit his future son-in-law Pakistani speedster Shaheen Shah Afridi on another level and he took to his Twitter to wish his would-be father-in-law a fast recovery as the pride of Pakistan will be greatly missed at the PSL6.
It was announced on social media that Shahid Afridi had accepted the proposal of Shaheen Shah Afridi for his daughter and the couple had gotten engaged.
The bowler wrote a heartfelt message for his inspirational father-in-law, "Get well soon Lala @SAfridiOfficial. You are the pride of Pakistan. We will miss you at PSL".

Boom Boom Afridi was enthusiastically training for the upcoming PSL6 tournament in Karachi however his luck was challenged tremendously when he experienced an aggravating pain in his lower back.
He went for a doctor consultation and the doctor advised complete rest.
We are completely demotivated to now acknowledge that the Multan Sultans strength will not be taking part in the upcoming PSL6.
Pakistani first-class cricketer Asif Afridi will be taking Shahid Afridi’s place in the fast-approaching tournament.
Shahid Afridi declared, “While training for the remainder of the Pakistan Super League 6, I felt lower back pain and had to consult a doctor. Unfortunately, I have been advised to rest and can no longer accompany my team Multan Sultans for the Abu Dhabi-leg.
“I am disappointed that I would be sitting out of the tournament, but my best wishes, support and prayers are with the team to take the trophy.”
