Aisam–Muzammil pair advance to quarterfinals of ATP Challenger Cup

Pakistan’s experienced duo, Aisam-ul-Haq Qureshi and Muzammil Murtaz, moved into the quarterfinals stage of the ATP Challenger Cup on Wednesday, 24NewsHD TV reported.  

The Pakistani pair defeated Timofei Derepasko and Ivan Gretskiy in a thrilling three-set match, winning 6-7, 7-5, 10-6 to secure their place in the last eight.

In the singles category, Britain’s Jay Clarke and Ukraine’s Vadym Ursu also booked their spots in the quarterfinals.

Clarke overcame Bulgaria’s Dinko Dinev with a 6-2, 6-7, 6-2 victory, while Ursu produced a dominant performance to beat Timofey Derepasko 6-2, 6-1.

Meanwhile, the Czech Republic’s Dominik Palán defeated Italy’s Leonardo Borrelli 7-6, 6-4, securing another place in the quarterfinal lineup.
